Mezger founded the company in 1978 to provide architects, masons and builders with native ledge and custom cut architectural limestone.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Mezger earned a degree in civil engineering, which provided the foundation and experience to begin Mezger Enterprises. A life-long Texas resident, Mezger lives in Lampasas with his wife of more than 35 years. He has three kids, all three of whom are actively involved in Mezger Enterprises.

Mezger has established an honest, trustworthy, dependable reputation. He has built Mezger Enterprises into the largest limestone quarrier, full service supplier and limestone manufacturer in the Southwest.
