Chris Dungan

Estimator

As an estimator, Dungan is responsible for bid proposals, and drafting and reviewing plans and design documents for limestone application, as well as preparing the "takeoff" of a project, which allows the client to determine material pricing, fabrication and freight cost.

Prior to joining Mezger Enterprises in 2004, Dungan served as field engineer with Barlett-Cocke Construction where he was responsible for building layout, surveying and coordinating the design and construction on the Art and Architecture building at Prairie View A&M. He also served as an architectural designer with McDermontt-Hudson Engineering, and a construction coordinator and drafter with the City of Austin. Dungan also served in various project management roles for Columbia Constructors Inc., Renaissance Builders, and the Westport Group.

Dungan attended the University of Texas, Austin Community College, and San Jacinto College where he received training in AutoCAD, a building design and drafting program. With more than 40 years of experience in construction and design, Dungan understands the industry from all aspects and is able to provide clients with proposals and estimates that fit within their budget.
